Aston Martin DB6Bespokes proudly presents the Aston Martin DB6, making this unique legend available to you for Hire.
Following on from the success of the DB5, the DB6 first entered production in 1965 and was to run well into 1970, being produced side-by-side with the DBS at the Newport Pagnell factory.
Introduced at the 1965 Motor Show, the DB6 bodywork had a new tail design, offering improved aerodynamics. Powered by a 3,995 cc twin overhead camshaft, straight six engine designed by the legendary Tadek Marek, the engine, with its triple SU carb setup produces 282 bhp at 5,500 rpm.
Driven by the likes of Prince Charles, who had his DB6 converted to run on bio ethanol - and Sir Paul McCartney, who had a reel to reel recorder fitted into his dashboard by Aston Martin themselves, reputedly used to record the initial melody and lyrics to the huge Beatles hit, "Hey Jude". The DB6 remains a timeless classic and symbol of British motoring.
Bespokes specialise in classic car Hire, we try to provide you with the best classic cars and the Aston Martin DB6 is no exception, maintained to the highest standards in our specialist garage.
